Daniel Azulay was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1947. As a self-taught person, Daniel´s first works were published by the press in the form of cartoons and comic strips. In 1968 he took part in the Montreal Exhibition, Canada, and in 1969, participated in the 33ème Salon Internationel d´Humoristes, Brussels, Belgium, invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
56 years old, Daniel Azulay is an awarded art educator and brazilian fine artist.
He lives in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro with his wife Beth and their daughter, Paloma.
